Daily Praise and Prayers

Guidelines for Worship gatherings at MCC

In an effort to make MCC a safe place to gather,  following are the guidelines we will follow:  MCC COVID-19 Policy (Updated 06/29/2021)

Romans 13:1 says “Let every person be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.”

Over the past year-plus, MCC has chosen to abide by the state and federal mandates regarding the COVID-19 virus. Finally, all of the mandates/requirements have been lifted.

The leadership at MCC believes that we should continue to follow the guidelines set out by our government officials. Social distancing is no longer required. We can hug and shake hands. We are no longer asking you to wear a mask while you are inside the building.

However, we do recognize that some people may still have reasons to be concerned about their health. So, the leadership at MCC is also asking that we all show respect to those who choose to continue to social distance and/or wear a mask. If this is you, we encourage you to continue doing what you feel is right and/or necessary.

God commands us in Philippians 2:3-4 to “Do nothing from selfish or empty conceit, but with humility of mind let each of you regard one another as more important than himself; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also the interests of others.”

Remember the unity and love of Christ that kept us together this past year+ and please continue to put Christ and others before ourselves as we fellowship and worship together.

   * The offering plates will not be passed but will be available at the back and front of the sanctuary for you to place your offering in.

    * Communion will be taken the first Sunday of each month using  pre-packaged cups and wafer sets.

   *  Sanitation and cleaning is done weekly.

         ~Hand sanitizers are available~

We thank you for your continued support of Christ’s Church and pray that each of us will remain faithful to our giving!  Please send your giving to:

He was born in Indiana, PA on September 27, 1949, son of the late Donald and Dorothy (McGaughey) Widdowson. Gary served our country with dedication and courage in the United States Army.
He had worked as a Material Handler for Boeing Helicopter in Ridley Park, PA for 33 years, until retiring in 2013. He was a huge part of the upper room prayer group at Boeing.

Gary loved to travel, cook, do crossword puzzles and play on his iPad. He loved telling jokes to lighten the mood. He certainly had a true sense of humor. He loved living in the mountains, hunting and watching wildlife.
